Standard tour

Our Standard Tour will give you an insight into the 4 years of War around Ypres.
It is ideal for people spending only one day in our town.
The highlights of this tour are Essex Farm (John McCrae's bunker and poem "In Flanders' Fields")*, Vancouver Corner (Canadian Memorial), New Zealand War Memorial, Tyne Cot Cemetery (Passchendaele), Hill 62 - Sanctuary Wood (British trenches and museum)*.

Grand tour (North Salient)

 From 01/01 untill 31/12          01.00 pm - 05.00 pm          35 euro
(entrance fee for museum included!)

Our Grand Tour gives you an overview of the Ypres Salient 1914-18.
We visit several monuments, memorials and battlegrounds, including Essex Farm (John McCrae's bunker and poem "In Flanders' Fields")*, Boezinge (gas attack), Cement House Cemetery (recent burials), Langemark (German Cemetery)*, Vancouver Corner (Canadian Memorial), Mill of death, New Zealand War Memorial, Tyne Cot Cemetery (Passchendaele)*, Hill 62 - Sanctuary Wood (British trenches and museum)* and Hell Fire Corner.

Extended tour (South Salient)

 From 01/04 untill 31/10          01.00 pm - 05.00 pm          35 euro

The Battle of Messines was launched on 7th of June 1917 with the detonation of 19 underground mines (1 million pouds of explosives), underneath the German lines.
The objective of the attack was the Messines Ridge, a natural stronghold south-east of Ypres.
This tour will take you to Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917*, Polygon Wood (Australian and New Zealand Memorial), Nonneboschen Wood, Menin Road – Hooghe (liquid fire attack), Bedford House Cemetery, Lankhof Farm, Bayernwald* (Adolf Hitler and preserved German trenches, underground war), Messines Ridge, Irish Peace Park and Spanbroekmolen mine crater*

* Walking 200 yards or meter.

Pre-booking is highly recommended. Children under 12 that take up a seat will pay half price.

Entrance fees to the museum in each tour are included in our prices. There are no extra hidden costs during our tours.

Meeting Point
We leave from the Market Square in Ieper, near the public bus stop. On Saturdays or when the Market Square is occupied, we will depart from the Menin Gate.

Practical information
We organise private tours for individual travellers and small groups upto 16 people.
We use modern, air conditioned minibusses each seating 8 persons, so that we are able to create a relaxed and personal atmosphere.
It is our aim to remember the enormous sacrifice made for freedom. With dignity and respect, we try to find the balance between being as informative as possible and giving you a taste of the famous "Tommie's humor".
Our local guides are passionate about the Great War.
Residing in Ypres, they are always well informed and involved about the latest discoveries and developments.
